Anything worse than zombies?

scariest thing ever... nothing is worse. You can bring on any kind of situation and i can handle it. zombies.. ugh.. so scary.

I've read my zombie survival guide, seen all the movies, reading world war z. I still think it's terribly scary. Anything scare you more than that?

either. fast would be scarier in the short-term. but slow would be worse because you would be able to last some time... then starve, make a break for it.... see civilization destroyed country by country...

but theres no illusion of winning there. id be fine with a disease that killed all humans.. it just happens. with zombies... its like the hardest video game ever. 1 life, no reset. just you vs them.

This guy from Return of the Living Dead always creeped me out a lot along with the spinal zombie trapped on the table in the same movie, which is odd because that zombie cannot even walk, but sure sounded and looked creepy, with that hissing voice and the spinal cord slithering around.

I need to watch that movie again, it's been so long.

I dont know why people think slow zombies would be a piece of cake. The infestation would last years. years. think you have enough food to last 4 years barricaded? eventually whole cities would be infected. sure 1 on 1 zombie is easy. how about 10,000 walking towards you. who dont get tired. run all you want but there will be another town infected with 5,000 zombies there. they start after you. now what do you do?

I think it would be much easier to come up with a winning strategy against slow zombies than fast. At the very least, you'd have more time to prepare and set up effective defense. You would be more free to go out and organize with other survivors.

With fast zombies, leaving the safety of your protected area would be suicide. With slow zombies, you have a better chance of going out and taking care of business... whatever that business may be.

Have you seen 30 Days of Night? That crew of vampires was pretty badass and I think battling them would be scarier and more difficult than battling a fleet of zombies.

adding fire to zombies makes flaming zombies that still want to eat you. I dont see how this helps. Unless you can get them hot enough to melt their brains.

There cant ever be an "army" of vampires. They would never want to take over the world and cause an apocalypse.

The difference is that zombies are not sentient and do not plan their actions. Vampires do. Vampires know that if there are too many of them and they feed on all the people, they will starve to death.

Also, vampires know that they are totally vulnerable during the day light, so they dont want to get people against them.

Zombies do not think, they do not plan, they do not fear. They just keep coming. That is why the zombie apocalypse is a realistic scenario where as the idea of a vampire army coming is just...crazy talk.
