With the NVidia Drivers, I used the Digital Vibrance control and the color was great. But on my ATI Radeon 9500, it seems the colors are a bit bland. I want to turn it up but I dont see it anywhere on the drivers, nor my monitor settings..
I haven't played around with it but there is an entire tab for color under advanced display settings with the Catalyst drivers. You can configure just about anything there...
it's not the same as digital vibrance control. The color tab for ATI only allows u to set gamma, brightness, and contrast, for each of red, green, or blue.. It doesn't look right if u mess with only one color's gamma, brightness, or contrast. I can't turn up the color saturation, you know what i mean? I can make it brighter or darker, but its still just bright pinkish instead of reddish, or bright sky blue instead of a richer blue.
I am not on one of my machines, but there is a tab in the ati drivers that will let you change the colours and everything. in fact you can even make your screen look like it is hand drawn in pencil.
However I do not like these effects nor do I care about digital vibrence, I prefer to use the programs the way the artist intended. Digital vibrence looks very cartoonish to me. but I certainly do not mind it after all it is not like they are forcing me to use it and it does not affect the gameplay.
BTW the feature on ati is called smartshader. That is as close to digital vibrence as they have come so far.
