Wag - Try this to see if it's in stock at another store within your area:

1) Use the Staples store locator to find your nearest Staples stores, write down their zip codes.
2) Clear all of your staples and wwwstaples cookies.

becarful of Staples rebates, they will try to screw you out of it. After 3
calls to CS over a period of 21/2 months and confirmations of my rebate being processed.
They first told me it was going to be sent on this date 4/20/00, when i never received it, i called. they told me i was a mistake and they would cut checks in about a week. Never got it, and after 2 weeks i called again. The rep tells me i never sent the upc thing, when in fact i did, and reminded her that 3 other reps had confirmed my rebate.
It took a lot of work to get this rebate. I think the CS manager finally agreed to give me my $50 rebate after i screamed ("why are you trying to screw me out of my rebate&quot olmost in tear because i was so pissed. After being on hold for 10 minutes, she came back and told me my rebate was going to send. The F/?#ed up part is that they could see on the their screen the logs of the other reps i had spoken to.
Staples Rebates Never again.

Acer will give you the same run-around on rebates. Took me 9 months and 6 phone calls to get my $30 rebate on a scanner. You have to be a prick to these rebate houses or they'll screw you over.
