I was looking around for a small UPS for home and found a nice deal:

1. Go to Officedepot.com through this Cybergold promo link (thanks BigBigSavings)

2. Search for Item 399271 and add to your cart. List price is $79.99 but a $20 discount should show up. Next Day Shipping is free as its over $50. Buy it!

3. Then go to http://www.rebateshq.com/ and click on Get Rebate, search by manuf., APC.....you will find an MIR for $30. PURCHASE MUST BE MADE BY 3/17. You have until 4/17 to mail it in.

So you get a $80 UPS for $30 + tax

well i dont think there will be a problem, heres what the office depot order history looks like (which i guess should count as the receipt) i figure as long as order date is 3/17 it should be fine.

APC's serial cords use a special pinout. Don't use a normal serial cord or your computer will keep thinking it's lost power and attempt to shut itself down.

You could also call up staples.com (they have it for about $88, item 429029) and ask for a Price Match to officedepot.com and order something else for $21 then use a $20 off 100 coupon, if you have one. Didn't look into the rebate details. Is it for all retailers or just office despot?

That means there's still a valid rebate out there! I'm gonna try to schwang by Compoosa tomorrow, and see if it's store-specific. If not, OD here I come!

I thought you all should know that a 350VA backup will run at best a P200 with a 13" monitor..

I have a 650VA and thats just cutting it.
