APC UPSes (500va for $40, 280va for $20) at Wal-mart

Why did you have to tell me that?? Now I have to go look around at various WalMarts around the city.

memphis checkin in: southhaven, ms superc on east goodman has about 8 500va for $100, 4 280va for $80, other superc twelve miles west(behind steakn'shake and next to interstate 55)has none. also wolfchase wal-mart superc has none
interesting discovery--lady at east goodman store remarked that they can't mark anything else down until they get more "markdown money"

Hmph, went back yesterday . . . Got a CSM on the horn . . . the clerk tells me "The Manager says we won't do it". Then I say: "Well, did you know your manager is the devil?!" Well, ok, I didn't say that... but I wanted to. Half the UPS's were gone and I'd be fairly surprised if 6 different people picked them up for $100 and $80, even if there was a massive lightning storm.

Bah, guess I'm stuck with stopping by just about everyday and bringing Lil' Debbie snackcakes to the managers in the hopes of winning them over.

Hossenfeffer: You crack me up. You must have the funniest story here. I would've never brought myself to bringing "il' Debbie snackcakes" to the managers. I really hope you get those puppies. I really hope I get at least one for myself! They have been at $123 for weeks now here in Riverside County, California. I doubt the store manager here will give it to me for anywhere near $40 dollars like the NY managers gave TOOCOOL from $123 to $40. Maybe someone that has seen one at his/her neighborhood Wal-Mart for around $40 dollars can pick one up for me and ship it to me without too much additional cost...*

* The fine print: somewhat good auction rating of the seller and/or good status on this board preferred.

i bow down down before you, great job on the scans,i took them to a w-mart in NY and purchased two 500's the store manager gave the ok dept manager was a little upset the price was $123 i got them for the price on your receipt $40!!!!!!!! Well here in Texas I have been battling with my local Walmart. They have a dozen or so at $100 and havent budged in several weeks. even asked about the every two week reduction. I showed them the receipt and they said different states have different prices.
I know they havent sold that many so I dont know what they are waiting for. I think if I had a receipt from Texas I might have a chance. Anyone have any luck in Texas that could forward me a reciept for ammunition?

Sure would like to get one, but not for $100.

My Walmart had 5 @ $100 (500's)

I went their every three days.... Tuesday they were all gone and the 280's are there for $65...

Someone else got them!! I imagine the price they sold for was probably $80... no a &quot;Super&quot; deal.

WOO HOO!!! The Wal-Mart here finally dropped the price to $62 dollars after it had been at $123 for weeks and weeks! There are 4 units here. Now, if I can get the manager to price-match it to $40... then it'll be a SWEET deal!

Oh yeah, another Wal-Mart nearby still has it at $123. So keep your eyes peeled, but your mileage may vary.
