<< betcha it has a 3 month warranty instead of the usual 1 yr. >>
Most TV's have a 90 day warranty. The exception is a year, but that is not the usual.
Also, warranty's are not worth the paper they are written on if you think warranty = quality.
The TV's with the longest warranty, Curtis Mathis, were 100% crap.
Many models were in the shop more than in the owners home.
The surprise was that they used great parts. (almost).
Turns out they used Sharp chassis that Sharp rejected as not good enough for their sets.
Curtis Mathis bought all these rejects. We would simply swap out entire chassis.
On a scale of 1 to 10, (10 being best), Apex rates about a 2 or 3.
But, many popular brands rate at under a 5 now a days, as crap is flooding the market. (Price!)
The very best sets even have problems, and nothing rates over a 7 or 8 today.
