Carefull about buying it online (with a rebate) and then picking it up in store, I did this with a hard drive and was denied the rebate because of the instore pickup..

Otherwise this looks like a good deal.

I just called and talked to a BB rep. She said as long as I have the email confirmation with the order number, that will prove that it was purchased online, and therefore the rebate will work.

This is about 3 lines down on the rebates listed terms and conditions....Good luck
In-store rebates are valid on in-store purchases only. BestBuy.com rebates are valid with online purchases only.

You are purchasing it online, in-store pick up is just a delivery option. I do this all the time at BB and have never had a rebate denied.

I didn't purchase it in the store. I have a receipt from bestbuy.com. I don't see what the problem is. I didn't pay at the store. $hit, I saved them at least $50 delivery charge!

Thanks. I will go to BB to see it tomorrow. 77 lbs sounds pretty heavy (half of my weight). It fit in your car all right? Maybe my Accord can take it too.

Can any of you guys who picked it up already post a scan of the UPC on the box? I'll be out of town for a month and scheduled the delivery after my return, which will be after the rebate's post date...

Thanks is advance!

I just ordered one and will get it tomarrow after work. Pretty good deal..

Thanks CrimsonKing

Here's a Google search..This TV is priced as high as $450.00

If you're buying this TV for $450, I've got a bridge for ya in NYC. Now $150 with a $25 rebate, now that's a deal. Too bad I need to buy a house first.

Nope not buying for $450.00, Why do you need a house? just plug it into a socket on any street corner..:light:

Some guy over at Bens stated that he brought the online price in and got it out the door for $125 at BM.

I talked and talked to my local Best Buy, and they wouldn't touch matching the $25 mail-in rebate. I think that there's some small war between local stores and online, they wouldn't let me order it online and pick it up in the store. So I drove home, ordered it, and I'll pick it up today.

Note, Circuit City *just* dropped this television from their systems. I'm guessing Apex isn't making it anymore, and BB is selling them at/near cost to make shelf space for newer models. Great deal!

Well, so far the only problem I'm having is the picture viewed via component input seems to be all purple. But maybe I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not sure if I need special cords for that connection. I'm just using a nice L/R/V RCA cable to make the connection from my DVD player to the TV component input. The whole DVD connection is strange. You get the same picture on Vid-3 as you do on DVD, so I'm not sure what's going on. At first, the Vid-3 picture was all purple-ish and the DVD/component picture was pristine. Now the Vid-3 looks good and the DVD-in is all goofy. I must've screwed with some stuff.

All I know is I don't have enough S-video cables. I've never needed them before today!

Thanks CrimsonKing for the info this is my first Flat screen TV and i want to make sure I didn't make a bad purchase. I tell me is the image totally different from a regular TV? Oh, and I hope I have enough S-video cables for my DVD, VCR, Surround Sound, and console systems.

I don't think that is how component input is supposed to work You need to buy special cables and they are quite expensive if you buy from BB.

Plug your RCA cables to the AV IN(1) and it should work.

I finally decided to pick one up from local BB, just 2 miles away from home. It took me some effort to squeeze it in my Accord. That is the disadvantage of a 4-door. But so far so good. The preset color settings are totally off. I had to reset it mannually, what is the setting you are using? Also, do you notice black frame around the picture screen? It makes the screen look not as big as a 24', just my feeling.

Thanks! You just reminded me that I have an extra set of cables on a Dreamcast that I don't play often nowadays. Saved a trip to the store!

A little update. It looks like the $25 mail-in rebate is now valid for in-store purchases. So you don't have to bother ordering online.

Great deal!
