Hey, its $49.99 at CircuitCity.com, w/o rebates, and free shipping. Funny thing, it's advertised for $57 at the store. Just ordered me one today and did an express pick-up...cause I can't wait. $52 out the door.

I went to Circuit City today and bought one. I have a ton of SVCD DVD rips and I played them tonight. They looked perfect! I actually think the SVCD quality is better than the DVD quality (sounds weird). I played my LOTR DVD and SVCD rips and they looked exactly the same.

This thing is worthless without the remote, so don't lose it.

Other than that, it is a GREAT deal!

A better deal is the Apex 1500 from Smartbargains.com for $52 delivered. The 1500 is simple to hack with region free and Macrovision/CGMS/A hacks. And it is a better player than the 1200.
