Sup all. Recently I installed a fresh copy of Linux Mandrake 8.2 on a few month old HP Pavillion laptop and when the operating system finishes loading I get this error message in regard to my battery monitor:
"Error querying battery charge. Make sure your kernel was built with APM support"
Does this mean I have to download a patch for Mandrake somewhere or compile something into the kernel? If any of you have a link or an easy way of doing it, let me know. Kinda pissing me off
