Question App requiring access to Windows Defender firewall

Hi, I bought a Tourbox Elite device made in China. According to the startup guide, I pair the device using their Tourbox Console software rather than from Windows's Bluetooth setting control panel. When I ran the software, it stated that Windows Defender is blocking it and asked me permission to access. Is it OK to give it access? Also, should I check private home network or public? I use it at home but not sure if giving it permission to access home network, some bad things may happen to me.

Is a refund possible ?
Does your toilet have a manual "Flush " or a remote ?

Refund is possible but of course Amazon does not like that and it will count towards getting banded.

I don't like wires across my desk so if possible, I would prefer bluetooth connection.

Before we sort out how to use it wirelessly without security risk, as a temporary test, I connected it to my computer via a USB cable. Their program launched without asking me for permission to access.

What could happen in the worst case? Will they be able to gather information from data transmitted in my network?
