My point with the HBO reference is that it isn't anything they haven't seen already. As for your other comments, if your daughter loves Justin, she's already seen him gropin' and grabbin' on MTV...have you seen any of his music videos? And before you go off on a rant saying that MTV is a "premium" channel, teenie boppers and Timberlake fans hover around MTV.
My daughter does not watch MTV. I do not allow them to watch that. I also don't let them listen to certain songs of his. I'll rip the songs I think are ok for her (she's 9) and burn them onto another CD for her.
And, they do not watch HBO after 9pm (or anytime when there is a movie that I don't think they need to watch). And, my youngest will even police herself. If she's at a friend's house and they're watching, say, Titanic, she'll leave the room at the point of that sex scene.

The news channel said CBS issued an apology for the "boobie" shot. If it was unintentional why was she wearing a pastie?

You're depriving your child, Child Protective Services should be called!
How dare you have morals that others don't agree with!

Well, that's nice that you "police" your kids the way you do.
I, however, am glad that my parents didn't put such restrictions on me. They let me have a TV in my room and they allowed me to pretty much watch whatever I wanted. I turned out OK (I think). Kids are gonna be kids.
The problem I see with putting so many restrictions on kids is that when does it end? When do you allow them to START watching certain things? When they're 17, when they're 18? Puhlease. Let 'em learn as they grow up. I for one will not let my kid live a sheltered life...it just ain't natural.

Morals = boobs are evil?
Maybe we should adopt some Islamic rules and have women not show any skin. That would be REALLY moral, right?
Let me ask you this, why is it ok for a woman to show pretty much her whole body in a bikini, but if you are fully dressed and show one boob it is bad?

AGAIN, it was the WHOLE ACT!
It was damn near an enactment of a rape! Justin grabbing her breast, ripping her clothes and her bare tit bouncing out. And, yes, I've seen the full-screen HD shots and her nipple and areola are quite visible. It's a type of ring around the nipple with a sunburst pattern so, yeah, it's nudity during "children's hour" on broadcast TV.

Well, if you're a parent who is "policing" what you're kid watches, if you saw the first portion of the show with Justin "grabbing" and "groping" you would have sent your kids out of the room or changed the channel before it got to the "CLIMAX." If you didn't, you have no one to blame but yourself

PLEASE stop the BS! If JJ were walking around the stage the whole time with a boob hanging out, you'd be just as pissed. Don't try and pull this "rape" crap.

Two different things.
And I'm not alone in seeing this as a type of violent sexual act.

Are you high? That was a violent sexual act?
I was sheltered by my parents and I think it was a great decision... especially when I look around at how most guys my age view women.Originally posted by: Mill
What cracks me up is that the boob thing was at the end of the show. If Justin and her groping each other were so bad, then the kids should have been sent out to begin with. I'm not saying I felt it was an appropriate thing to happen, but lewd things are talked about/shown on TV all day, and talked about on the radio. If people want to shelter their kids it's going to make it much worse for them when they get out into the real world. I was sheltered by my parents and it was a bad decision on their part.
