And where in the world did the whole "god squad" thing come from? So you don't believe that God helps them win. So what? Do you think He's any more responsible for their losses? And what is this about them making excuses... when you're making excuses, you don't just "blame yourself." I thought the purpose of making excuses was to shun personal responsibility -- am I wrong? >>



If God is responsible for 1 team winning, he is responsible for the other team losing. So when they lost God apparently made the other team win. Yet suddenly it's not God anymore but their own bad play. They believe God will only support their team, and not any other, that makes them religious freaks. Maybe God just enjoys watching a good game, making 1 team win for sure would mess the game up a bit for him too, don't you think?

people do that all the time. they say god saved them from death in september 11th attacks, guess he forgot a few 1000 others. he was probably too busy helping musicians write pop songs so they can win some awards.
