From Mushkin's website, I'd guess this is the SP series with timings of 3-3-3-8. This I do not know for sure, though. Just taking a guess considering the price.

Update: It appears that this deal cannot be ordered online at this time. It is reported that phone orders can still be made for this item. If that changes, this post will be updated accordingly.

Bah freaking outpost. I ordered the cosair 2gb fit for the $25 rebate it had and since they were out the shipped me (without my consent) this muskin kit instead, but I ordered it 2 days ago so I dont qualify for the rebate for these either.

This is a good deal without the rebate. So, assuming you don't get the rebate, it is a good deal. If you DO get the rebate, it is a fantastic deal. That is the approach to take regarding rebates.

I ordered this around 1:30pm and the website shows my order went through. Odd thing is that I didn't get an email confirmation.

I opted for the overnight shipping because it was $9.50 while the regular shipping was $6.50. Figured what the heck, I'll go crazy today.

Just FYI, if any of you jumped on that Corsair 2x1GB Value Select deal from outpost a couple days ago, oupost.com seems to be substituting this mushkin ram for the corsair. I guess they aren't getting any more corsair in. When I called up outpost, the guy I talked to said since they had to sub, they would honor the original corsair price which was 139.99, so AR thats $109.99+s&h.

YOu find me 1 stick of 1Gig RAM that at manf specs is able to run at 2-2-2. Just one stick. Ill give you a hint there isn't any. 1Gig sticks run at a higher latency than 512mb sticks. Mushkin has a lifetime warranty, so if you have any problems it isn't a big deal.

I called outpost up and ordered over the phone. The total came to $156 then ill just send in the Rebate and all is well

Can you guys clarify something. On the rebate form it says "2. You MUST provide an original store identified sales receipt AND the Fry's rebate receipt showing purchase between 01/11/06 and 01/17/06." How does this apply to me if I ordered from Outpost.com. What do I have to provide?

i ordered it yesterday, it shipped today, and will be delivered tomorrow.

and i paid for the cheapest ground shipping. $6.50
