I agree with a lot of the criticisms. Definitely a lot of room for improvement. I like the interface though, and the speed. I'd love to see some more browser options on the platform. Maybe mobile Firefox. The EU browser openness now.

Hmm.. it's just ok. There's not enough difference to make me use it over Safari, and it's no where near as smooth as Safari. I do like the tabs, and the top sites, but I don't like the fact that it has translucent buttons at the bottom corners, I wish those would disappear instead of staying on there the whole time.

No wonder they approved it... it blows compared to Mobile Safari. Sure it's a bit faster to load pages, but scrolling feels weird and zooming is a nightmare! Not to mention the pages have so many rendering errors it's not funny :-/ Even the iPhone optimized ones...

ATF and AT main sites look weird (AT has errors) - how do you zoom out when the page already loads zoomed in? Absolutely hate it... I remember why I stopped using Opera on my PC.

You guys should try Mercury Browser - it's a Safari clone but has fullscreen browsing. Something I wish Apple would implement. And it works really nice!

Apple approved it to shut people up, what's ironic is if they had held it to their app standards it would have never made it. You are right it blows, I don't see why anyone would use it. But if they hadn't approved it the haters would be screaming how Apple hates competition. This wasn't ready for release definitely.

Well Mobile Safari always rocked. Remember that. On other OSes like Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Android, their stock browsers SUCK. Opera Mini is a huge step up for everyone there. For Apple? Not so much. Safari does its job QUITE well.

I just installed it. Like everybody else said:
- It is really fast load times
- Zooming sucks
- Its ugly, but I can deal with that
- I like how it handles tabs
