I have to do it occasionally at work. Once I had an iMac with a clicking hard drive, and they made me sit for an hour to "diagnose" it...lol

I don't know whether they are stupid or trying to make overtime. I can't wait to try and pull the "certification" bit on them. lol

i think it means you can charge whatever you want to take a look at a mac now, and have a real reason minus, "because u have no one else to look at it."

lol yeah. I felt kind of bad for a few people in the class with me. One guy's job depended on passing the test, and he didn't know what an Ethernet cable was. He was like "oh, an Internet cable." ugh.

I would care to get a mac cert, but all the apple folks I worked with on my last job were blindly apple biased, they probably weren't too fond of my anti-apple views.
I could always catch them off guard with lack of superior server operating system or the lack of mac gaming community. They didn't like hearing that though.
I still wouldn't mind a mac in a multi-computer setup, or an iPhone.

I have no idea. I was the only one (in a class of 6) that took the test so far. I had wanted to take it the same day that I finished the class but the instructor didn't feel up to staying in late to wait for me...lol

It's really not that hard if you've been around Macs for a long time. A lot of the questions had answer choices that were so obviously wrong, you couldn't miss. Also, some questions weren't Mac specific at all.

I am contemplating going for further Mac certs just for the hell of it. I got to see if my company will keep paying for me. ^_^
