Good luck keeping up the ROI for dGPUs with that free fall trend.
There is no sign of a stop in the decline. And as cost kicks in it only gets worse. Lower volume and higher cost is a bad combo. AMD cant make money, NVidia still can but for how long.
AMD is part of this thread. Apple dropped an AMD product. And AMD is one of the 2 discrete GPU makers.
Not my point, I repeated almost all of them twice, still don't get it, you likely never going to get it...
No they didn't. The previous 21" iMac had a 750M on the upgraded model.
No surprise since the dGPU is dying fast with a rapid decline in volume.
Edit: basically, if what you are saying is true, then shouldn't Nvidia (that doesn't produce x86-compatible APUs, but primarily video cards) be hurt, and AMD helped, by this market trend?
If dGPU IS "dying fast", then wouldn't Wall Street seek to prop up AMD, at least until they see if Zen can perform comparably to Intel in perf/watt, and at least be competitive in overall performance/core, what with AMD being in the best position to compete with Intel for integrated x86/x64-compatible desktop / mobile CPU, along with some of the industry's best graphics IP?
Apple has a Mini PC i5 for $499...
Trackpad 2 is $129 and Magic Mouse 2 is $79. They also put the lightning connector on the bottom of the mouse which means if the battery dies, you can't use the mouse while it's being recharged.
Yeah but from the specs, 2 minutes of charging give around 9 hours of use, so go grab a cup of coffee and come back and use it for the rest of the day, or charge the damned thing every now and then.
Im more pissed about the RAM being soldered to the motherboard with the 21 inch.
