$249.00 for a plain-Jane 4GB MP3 player? What a rip-off. Still no voice recorder, no radio. When will people learn?
Its 4gb flash... Pretty cheap for a 4gb flash player witha color screen.

$199 for iRiver 5GB Color screen flash player

I've always been the sort to let gadgets get refined before I buy.
I had a goal that I'd decided to buy a digital camera on - when SLRs hit 10 MP for <$1000, I'd buy one. Well, that went to hell when my daughter was born and I got a DRebel.
For portable music, I'm content to wait until I can seamlessly and painlessly (no wires hanging, except perhaps a power connection) bring my whole library of CDs (about 90G now, encoded as very high quality mp3s) with me, including into my car (wireless, but NOT over FM), with enough battery power to get me through about 6-8 hours. And I'll wait until I can get it for sub-$200.
Why am I posting here then? Hooray for people who buy these and drive the improvements I'm waiting for
Though I gotta say... it's pretty damned cool looking... Apple's always had great industrial design.

Hey people,
I found this site a few months ago and it is really easy to get free stuff, including the iPOD NANO.
You DO NOT have to sign up for five credit cards to get this. Infact, it is actually easy to get it. This website has this offer going on and there are only four steps in getting the Nano. I have personally received about 6 FREE cool items from this website.
1st: CLICK HERE to sign up with the company; no you will not receive 3rd party email junk.
2nd: Complete only 1 offer. For example, I paid $30 for printer ink, and that counts as my offer. There is about 20 or 30 to choose from.
3rd: Refer 5 friends to this website.
4th: The company does all the rest. Even the shipping is free. By the way, it is the 4gb one and you pick black or white.
CHECK IT OUT
Seconded, but at least he changed his icon.Originally posted by: Pabster

I just ordered from onsale, and canceled with Target. Thanks!!Originally posted by: thecollectivewi
I picked up my 4g Nano from onsale.com They have them for $244 and plus you can get an FM transmitor for free after rebate. Went with them over Target because I was able to get the ipod in only 2 days and there was no sales tax with onsale. Ordered Sunday night and had the thing on Tuesday morning already.

I added the Belkin tunecaster, but it shows $12.37 and the rebate is for $19.99. Does this mean we are getting back an extra $6?
Cool
