Arctic Cooling Copper Silent 2L

Is this a good cooler? The review seem to like it, but I was hoping someone here would have insight. I've got a XP2700 that I plan on doing a little OCing (not much, for i know it can not do much).

I wanted to get the TT silent boost 1889, but no one seems to sell it anymore. I found out Panasonic had to long a lead time for supplying the fan and TT dropped them and switched to a standard ball bearing fan, creating the 1889-01 model. Unfortunately, no one seems to have noticed this and they still say they are selling the 1889, but in fact ship the 1889-01.

So, my search continues for a decently priced, quiet CPU fan for my rig, and lo and behold, I find the Arctic Cooling. ANy thoughts?

The weight of the zalman bothers me a little. I'd also rather not have to remove my mobo from its placement to put this in(call me lazy!).

LOL, that's a good point! I've heard really good things about SLK-947/948, but is quite expensive. You can put a Venus Volcano 12 also and keep the rpms low to be quiet.

This is what I'm using.
Panaflo L1 to keep things nice and quiet.
First hsf I've used that keeps my cpu (2400m) cooler than the MB.

I was looking at that one, but the weight kinda bothers me and the cost is a little ripe. I've found a site that's got the Silent Boost 1889 that I'm looking for, so I'm either going to get that or the arctic cooling that I was asking about above.

I'm currently thinking about the Spire CopperStream II. It seems to be quiet and cools pretty well, too.

i noticed this too but didnt realised there was any significant implication to it - what diff does it make? i am just about to buy 1 so i will hold off til i hear about this!
