Good product, but be careful of the stickers! They peel off in the heat of the case, better to prepeel them.

just a note... i used to order stuff from svc all the time... ordered something for the first time in a long time a few weeks ago... didn't hear anything from them for like a week and a half or 2 weeks... finally had to email them and REMIND THEM TO SEND MY STUFF... no apology or anything. just got a ups package received confirmation. then of course ups manhandled my package and took forever to get it to me as usual.

anyone else had any bad experiences with them?? i was pretty shocked. in any event... damn nice price on this.

one of the best uses of $10 if you have a compatible vid card that makes noise. Guess I'm a fanboi of this product at this price point.

Looking at some of the reviews (and pics) on this cooler, it doesn't seem like anyone considered the countersunk die found on Radeon 9800's. Anyone know wether this thing actually makes solid contact on those cards?

I actually heard about this also and when I first installed it on my 9800pro the card seemed to run way hot and so I removed the cooler and sanded down both sides of the contact part of the heatsink where it would come in contact with the thing that covers the GPU, works like a champ now and haven't had any issues with it at all

I have one on an OEM Radeon 9800 Pro and one on a Sapphire 9800 Pro. One is a Rev. 2, the other is a Rev.3, and both work flawlessly. I also have one of the 2nd versions of Zalman's heatpipe GPU cooler w/ the optional fan, and it's much more complicated to install and doesn't suck the hot air out of the case, and costs a lot more.

Definately not hot. They had them set at $16 shipped for quite a while. I wonder why they jacked it so much.
