It's easy and goof-proof to spread and I don't see enough difference in temps to change. I think there may be as little as 0 to as much as 3C difference. If you have a rig that struggles to stay below 50'ish then it might be worth it to dig for that extra degree or two. My 3800 Newcastle runs 20 idle and has seen 35C max maybe once.
