Are carpool lanes in effect on holidays like today?

About to go to the city. Is there carpool today? I usually volunteer on Mondays in the city and I'm used to taking hte carpool lane and getting a free crossing, but is today the same as any other weekday or what? or do I need to finally pay $4 in tolls =/

Carpool lanes are in effect M-F and do not exclude holidays.

So no solo-driving in the carpool lane even on Xmas!

...and it's a Mexican holiday. Not a US one. I wouldn't expect much from the Mexican gov on the 4th of July aside from a drastic increase in fireworks sales at the border.

Doesn't matter. It still applies regardless if its Christmas day or anything else. Here's a question that was posted to the San Jose Mercury news.
