Are crocs good sandals for toddlers? particulary the Kids Athen's

I read somewhere on webmd before that these are really for kids? Are toddlers too small for these?

If not these, then what? The spiderman/thomas train/diego versions seems pretty cheap compared to crocs ...

seriously? they are that bad? The few reviews I was able to find says they are really good and comfortable. When I saw a picture of it, I wasn't sure if it provided enough support for the little guy.

from what i remember, the preferred footwear for toddlers who have just learned to walk are barefeet. there's lot of muscles down there that need development. if they are slightly older i would still go to a kids shoe place to get shoes.

ehhh, almost 2? the only reason is they have hardwood flrs and they're freezing! They have socks on him but man the little guy goes 100% full speed everytime so I'm always afraid he'll slip!

Listen, not a year goes by, not a year, that I don't hear about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid which could have easily been avoided had some parent--I don't care which one--but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator!

When I was a kid we had these socks with a rubber "tread" imprinted on the sole, kind of like those dollar store stretchy gloves with the rubber zits all over them. Might be a good compromise.
