I like that card as it appears to run nice and cool. I am almost tempted myself but I need way more incentive before dropping over 500 bucks on a video card. hopefully prices will come down a little this summer and maybe they will have a Borderlands 2 promo to sweeten the deal.

I was down at my local Micro Center today looking for a keyboard and noticed that they had a couple of the evga 680 sc's sitting on the shelf in their parts island. Asked if anyone had reserved them, they said no, so I picked one up. So much for only spending $40 on that trip...

About a month from now after i come back from a planned vacation, if the gtx670 isn't out at a decent price,i will be purchasing a Evga model of the gtx680 more then likely,so hoping supply and stock picks up good between now and then.

It always happens with new video cards. Neither AMD nor nVidia have fabs AFAIK, so they rely on third party manufactures, needless to say they can't keep up with demand so this happens.

Nvidia has already acknowledged that it's having issues with yields of the GTX 680 which has lead to extremely short supplies. Guess AMD just isn't having as many problems with yields.
