I just realized that i misunderstood what pleated means - i thought it was the vertical line in the middle of the leg. That's what i was talking about. I still don't see the connection between pleated pants and gay men though - its such a small detail, and the only people who'd notice are those staring at the guy's crotch area. Wouldn't that make THEM gay though?

And pants are those things that hang from your waist to your ankles, and cover your privates... But have two tunnels; one for each leg. (Don't go telling me about your "third leg" or I'll start talking about your third PINKIE!)

There's fashion, and then there's conservative dress. Conservative dress is always in style. A man should have one dark suit, for example. That's conservative dress. And conservative dress clothes are pleated. End of story.

Now, this comes from a woman...

I'm not a woman, but if that helps my case for pleated pants, so be it!

Very true, and unless the suit itself is gay, the pleated suit pants will get a pass in this instance. However, exhaustive scientific analysis has determined that pleated khakis, slacks, pants, trousers, whatever, are, in fact, gay (and I have to point out that by 'gay', I don't mean homosexual, because gay guys won't touch pleated pants with a ten-foot pole).

True on both counts.

Does anyone think he wears stuff like that to weddings and funerals? Does anyone think this guy can afford Gucci even if he wanted to wear stuff like that to weddings and funerals? Hilarious stuff.

I wear pleated pants with cuffs, because that specific style looks good on me. In fact, all the dress casual pants I own save for 1 pair of Dockers are pleated. I happen to look pretty decent in them. Why? I am skinny and i wear appropriate shirts with them. They add a little to the business fashion scale, a bit dressier than a norm.

I feel comfortable wearing them and I am regularly complimented on my pants of choice.

IMO, it is what you feel comfortable wearing . <----- that was a period

perhaps it's build that determines if pleats are good or not.

I am a built type of guy and flat fronts sort of make my hips look concave with a cod piece

The pleats make is all neat ...

I have flat fronts too, but buy a size bigger or so.
