Are Solytech power supplies decent?

Just curious. I saw a Thermaltake PSU and the UL listing was Solytech. I've never heard anything about this company.

Deer, Allied, Solytech, Apex... they ARE the same company. There's no rebranding, rebranding, rebranding here. They're the same company providing product for different market segments.

Thanks for the info. No doubt! I would not use them either. Even though I haven't heard of Solytech, I've certainly heard of Allied, Deer and Apex. These are the power supplies to stay away from.

It looks like the Thermaltake power supplies are a crap shoot then. It all depends on who is making the particular power supply for them. I'm glad that now know how to decode the UL number.

The Thermaltake Toughpower PSUs are fine from Jonnyguru's testing. That is the only Tt PSU I'd consider buying honestly.

I just had a Solytech 400w ps die after six months so I can't recommend them.

The old thermaltak PSU`s are crap!!
The ToughPower series are good PSU`s!!
