I know I always try to find any grammatical errors and edit my posts accordingly. But I see a lot of people leaving theirs in place. It's annoying and rude to litter your posts with grammatical errors.

Yeah, I remember there being a big meeting about this when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. I figured if the teachers had to come to a consensus, it was debatable.

Tell that to every great writer who ever lived. And read their books. You'll soon realize the and/but discussion only comes up in grade school as a technique to get children to learn how to compose complex sentences rather than stringing together one-dimensional sentences. There is no rule about it except in some classrooms.
