Yeah yeah, i know NYC is a very nice city but it doesn't help my situation because it's too far away...
Ok, here's the thing, i'll be starting work in Southbury Connecticut (very close to CT/NY border) for IBM and after 2 or 3 years, they transfer a LOT of people to their office in Somers, New York (which is very close to southbury). I was considering a town connecticut but now i'm not so sure i want to move there if i have to go to somers, ny later.
So my question is, are there any nice cities in new york that are close to both Somers and Southbury? Here's a mapquest map showing where southbury and somers are in relation to one another: http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main...ah=&2y=US&2a=&2c=somers&2s=ny&2z=&2ah=
Maybe even Somers is a possibility if it's nice enough?
I really want to live near a city so i can meet young people my age... and hopefully it has lots of stuff to do. I realize whatever city i pick will probably be not as fun as NYC though
