Are there any PC notebooks that resemble the Apple Powerbooks?

Just wondering... Are there any PC laptops with that aluminum look? I need something that will match a Shuttle XPC and the new Apple 23" display. Any ideas?

While on the topic, does anyone know if there are any keyboards that would match this theme? Aluminum construction with white, off-white, light grey keys... No black...

Averatec has some silver colored notebooks.

I don't think they look nearly as sleek as my Powerbook though.

Wow, thanks a bunch guys. Unfortunately, it can't be an actual powerbook as it's going to be for CAD and networked with other PCs... Also, I personally have owned three macs (two ibooks and one powerbook) and could just not get used to the OS...

The Compaq v2000 looks the best so far... I was also considering the Dell 700m, but it's too small for this appllication. Averatec's screens are low-res, unfortunately - otherwise OK though... and cheap.

Go to hpshopping.com...you can configure a Compaq r3000 with an Athlon 64 processor, a high resolution 15.4 widescreen, and built in wireless 'g'. May be what you need for CAD. You can also buy through their academic or employee purchase programs...usually saves about 6%.

I think the Thinkpads look quite good and they are very practical... much more sturdy and resistant to the elements than any Apple product.

Aux, thats pretty stinking close....the power button is even close...has the Ti design with the black keys and all...
