Costco is one of the best retail companies to work for in the US...

High pay, high benefits, good community programs, decent healthcare options for retail, very nice return policies and competitive prices with Sams Club (which is all of the things mentioned by nutxo, as someone who was employed by them).

Well, when I said "in a pinch" I was referring more to the times when Walmart is more convenient. Like when I order a pizza from the place next to Walmart, and I need to pick up some soda - I get it at Walmart.

The Guitar Hero thing goes back to my original thought in that post, which is that I don't care who unsavory the company is if I can get a good deal (as long as it's a legit company - I'm not buying stuff from fly-by-night Internet companies because I can get a good deal).

Damn right, I :heart: Costco. Costco > low income neighborhoods. I don't buy ketchup by the gallon, but I buy salsa by the half gallon.

I've been to Costco a few times, but there is really very little that I ever need/want there, at least in the brands and/or quantities they offer. Maybe if I had a big family it would make more sense, but going into that place is more annoying than anything.

I refuse to ever return to certain individual businesses, but I can't think of any companies.
Like the Pizza Hut near my house, where we were completely ignored while our waiter made multiple trips back and forth for a large party.
Or the gas station where this asshole employee parked his car where I couldn't get out, then refused to move it because he said I was parked in the wrong place.
