Are those Gratis Deals legit?

Hi guys, I made a post on OC forums about the best way to get a free XBOX360 since I don't have much money. A few people responded about the Pespi contest, but I doubt I will win that. The other responses intrigued me though.

Supposedly, there is this company called Gratis that has free offers. All you do is complete one of the deals and refer some people. They have one for the XBOX360 which has easy offers to choose from and you need to refer 8 people.

I was told that they are legit and a lot of people on the forums received Ipod, PSP's, and TV's from them. What do you guys think? I gave it try.

I chose to do the Rhapsody offer. I signed up, downloaded 5 songs for $.20 a piece, and canceled. I just need to refer a few friends. I signed up my 2 bros already.

Has anyone ever heard of this company. A lot of people on OC did, but I don't whether to trust them. I took a shot since it was only $1. Here is the link to their main site.

Disregard the guys who didn't read your post.

People do actually get the items, but there can be a lot of problems with it. They hand review each submission, and may cancel your order/close your account if they think anything against their Terms of Service happened. They may also take weeks/months to send you your item. In general, it's just not worth the time and effort.

The deal with it is that it takes effort and perserverence. I got a TV and three ipods (nano, shuffle, regular). Basically, the way to do it is to trade for referrals at a reputable site (i recommend [evidently the forum's name is a banned word, PM me for it], they're mad hardcore) and deal with reputable traders. It'll come (average time from completion to reciept for me was approx 1.5 weeks) and it'll be cheaper than buying the item, but nothing is "free" - you'll either have to pay for referrals or do other people's sites in exchange for yours.

Basically, it boils down to this: you can't get anything for free, but you can get it cheaper than you would have, whether you pay out your cash or your effort. Stick with it, stick to their TOS, and you'll be fine.

Alright sound good. I was just worried if they were real. I signed up my sister from her house, and my brother from my work address. Is this ok? It says they just have to have different addresses and CC's.

Be careful setting up people - it's against Gratis's TOS to do "walkthroughs" - i.e. to help someone through the process step by step.

I got a 6 gig ipod mini and a mac mini for free through them awhile back. I'm going to get a free xbox 360 too. They can be very picky about following the rules EXACTLY but it is a legit company.

Yes, it is legit. I did it last year. I received a Gameboy Advance SP and a $100 BB GC and a $100 Walmart GC... good times. It was a hassle to go through so I quit doing it.
