ah right, in a normal game with a bunch of average villagers and a few power players, gravedigger would be as overpowered. based on your revised definition though, would the gravedigger have witnessed the botched recruitment attempt (including the target)?

If there was a botched recruitment attempt the grave-digger would see that recruitment was attempted; but would not see who was to be recruited.
