There is another thread questioning the innocence of children and it seems pedos are starting to become a dime a dozen. Yet no one comes out and says they are attracted to them.

Not only is it illegal in most states to have relations with people under 17, but its morally wrong. Of course defenders of pedophilia will say that hormones arent guided by age, but I say its wrong to took at a kids privates when they walk by. Thats just sick and sends the wrong message to the next generation that their ONLY value is sexual.

Respect boundries, respect the law and respect the common decency of others, especially our young people.

I'm not sure how people define pedophilia since I've never really looked into it.

I'm going to give an example, my roommate's sister is 16. She's hot. I'm attracted to her but i think the biggest thing is I'd never try anything on her or imagine anything romantic/sexual with her (she falls just out of the (Age/2)+7 rule range, and even if she did, I would be very uncomfortable doing anything with a 17 year old).

I don't think there's anything with finding a 16/17 year old attractive, I think the biggest problem is people that will act on that.

What gets me is when you have people that defend 15 year old boys getting serviced by 29 year old "hot" teachers. I dont care how much people feel that this should be "ok".

Its wrong and we need to throw that the book at educators that cross the line.

I'd say acting on attraction to a 16/17 year old if you're older than 19/20 is starting to get into the range of a real creeper. You have to understand, at that point, you're looking at high school sophomore/juniors dating college sophomore/juniors. At that point, the advantage is just stacked on the older person so that in many cases, the older (lets face it's it's almost always a guy) guy can take advantage of the younger teen.

For example, a 22 year old doing something with a 17 year old (legal age of consent in IL) would be someone that I would in all likelihood not hang out with since that would be a pretty messed up thing to do (In my view).

There's a difference in you 15 y/o son nailing a hawt teacher and your 15 y/o daughter getting screwed by a teacher. Yeah there shouldn't be, but there is.

i agree. People such as educators have control and infuance over kids and its wrong ot abuse such power.

also i think its wrong for a 30 yr old to hook up with a 15 yr old. the adult should know better.
