I'm not sure if I've ever had a good argument with a female. I mean, I know my argument was good, but...

"I came here for a good argument!"

"No you didn't, you came here for a argument."

But to answer your question, Yeah, I like to argue.

A good argument does not always mean a dispute, sometimes it's more of just a good debate or conversation.

so long as we could step back and chill out from whatever argument we're having. intelligence is hot, but being stubborn isn't.

well I have no problem arguing as long as it's a rational argument conducted in a civilized manner. I don't respect someone's argument if they start yelling, etc.
Rational disagreement is fine and natural.

Interesting.
My parents fought constantly, my wife's parents never fought in front of their kids. Both sets divorced after 25 years of marriage.
In our relationship, I'm more likely to be confrontational and phrase criticism negatively, she's more likely to avoid confrontation and phrase something positively.

I love her and respect her as an equal, that means we have dissagreements and work them out as adults, appraently I think that adults are assh0les a lot more often that she does.
If I COULDN'T argue with her, it would bottle up and create a distance in the relationship I couldnt' stand.

^may not be what you were looking for... just thoughts.

yes. there's no way i would ever consider having any kind of relationship (or hell, for that matter, close friendship) with anyone that i had not had at least one argument with.

I notice my wife is like that, after she is done arguing with me, she is all over me. (not that its a problem)

Malodorous pervert!

No arguments would be ideal of course. I don't like confrontation. However, if someone can make a civil, informed debate or argument, that is good. My roommate last semester for instance, we were polar opposite personalities. Our political views were generally very opposite. However, he could make informed arguments for his side. That's better than when someone can't debate, so they resort to personality attacks. If your side is really as good as you say, you should be able to use its strengths as the basis of your argument, instead of just saying that I'm too stupid to argue in the first place.
Informed debate is better, and more interesting, than baseless personal attacks.

no.
we discuss but not argue.

I'm very non-confrontational and start crying when people raise their voice or speak angry to me. I was raised in a house where my parents did not fight (ever) so that kind of thing really upsets me.
