I haven't had a vacation from work since Dec '05... we scheduled one earlier this month but that was postponed... now I have to wait till mid-November. I'll be cramming 3-weeks in 2 months. Joy... just the way I wanted to spend it.

Same boat as you buddy. Working on my resume this week actually. Planning on applying in the coming months.

Same boat as you buddy. Working on my resume this week actually. Planning on applying in the coming months.

If you don't have time to take vacation in between jobs, schedule a vacation before you accept your offer and tell them about it during negotiations. That way you can still work and look forward to a vacation and not worry about having to accumulate vacation hours (I'm taking mine unpaid).
I'd recommend taking some time off though if you're burnt out. I took 2 months off between my last job and current job. It does wonders for the soul.

Thanks for the advice. I definitely need to do that, but I feel guilty with all the work that needs to be done around here. If I can find a good job though at the place I am looking at, I will definitely want a few weeks in between to settle stuff.
