Assuming I have the money, and that is a BIG "if" given my situation...possibly.
I want to make a tiny mITX machine, and the 4770T looks good for that, but something is telling me to wait for Broadwell.
In all honesty, I think Intel has (and AMD soon will) hit a wall when it comes to how much performance you can eke out of a single x86 core; I expect Broadwell will be about as powerful in terms of IPC, possibly clocked just a little higher, and have a lower TDP; I am guessing the Broadwell equivalent of the 4770T, call it 5770T, will be about as powerful as the 4770S and have a 35-45W TDP.
The focus is on mobile, and it shows. 4702HQ would be my choice for a mobile machine, since it has a 35W TDP and therefore can fit in 12-14" machines. My dream laptop would have:
Core i7-4702HQ
2x 8GB DDR3-1600L
256 GB SSD
13.3" 1600x900 or 14" 1920x1080 screen
And would have a good keyboard with full-size arrow keys like the Asus U46/48 or Q400 series, and be made of metal or have a Thinkpad construction.
