Are you getting a PSP Go?

How many people plan to buy the new PsP Go? So far the only reason I've heard most people (including myself) complain about is the $249.99 price tag.

Edit:

Nope. Mostly because it's more expensive with "less" features. The older PSP's will do everything the Go does and more (UMD, h4x0ring), cheaper.

I want a PSP eventually, but to me the Go is hideously overpriced compared to the 3000.

Maybe after a few price drops when it's well below $200.

I already have a PSP. The Go is way too expensive anyway, plus I like having tangible media.

Using that money to buy a netbook instead. I have a DSLite already.

Nah. I have a PSP that is just collecting dust. I play my DSi more. The games on the PSP have very few great games that warrant upgrading it.

Agreed ^

no emulators (homebrew) = why even get a PSP

Most people that are interested in PSP have a PSP. Others have a DS, iphone, or a combination of the three if they are portable gaming fans.

After owning 2 actual PSPs... nope. I've even put aside my DS since my iPhone is good enough and I don't have to carry anything else.

No. I would have considered it if it was $99 but losing features should not result in a higher price.

This. Hell, I would even go $150.

Yes. My son is getting it. We already have the PSP and 2 DS. I don't play the handhelds, maybe once every 3 months. However my son is always on his PSP, using it for games, music...etc., might as well get the iPhone, but then I'd have to pay the $100 per month service. No thanks.

The size, bluetooth and battery life is a big feature for him. I don't think he really needs it, but it's his own money. Teenagers these days *sigh*

Hell no. I already had a normal PSP, did everything I wanted to do with it, then sold it.

If I were in the market for a PSP I wouldn't pay $100 more for an inferior version.

I am.

Why? The size mostly. I used to have a PSP but sold it long ago and there's a few games I want. Digital distribution doesn't bother me. The price doesn't bother me either.

I went through 2 PSP's as well and although I don't game that much, I have used DS more. I am waiting for my 32GB iPhone S

no, i'm just not really into portable gaming.

i had a DS, traded it to a friend for a PSP a few years later, and now that collects dust.

if I was into them though I'd probably get one, although I think it is way over priced.

No because it removes access to cheap used games on discs. I love bargain hunting for games and the last thing I want is to have my only option to be to buy games directly from Sony, guaranteeing I pay full price for every last one.

Lack of homebrew + smaller screen + much higher price pretty much seal the deal.
