Would you really? I think I'm pretty tolerant but it kinda weirded me out when it happened. People do lots of weird, sometimes stupid stuff that I don't want to go near (country music, NASCAR come to mind). It's ok to find something undesirable, even outright disgusting - the line is crossed when you decide that things you dont' like should not be allowed or should be illegal. I think there's a healthy amount of middle ground. For me to poop on.

Good show!

Ignorant? I know what a dick in the ass is. Do you, it's not that hard to understand - it's a dick in the ass?
Disgusting? I'd say dick in the ass or mouth would be it.
Inbred? Nope.
Backwards? So not liking the dick in the ass or mouth is somehow backwards?
Motherfucker? Sorry, she's dead and I never fucked her.
Southern? Yes and proud of it.

What you fail to understand is I'm not part of the "oh, he doesn't like gay people! He's a racist ignorant bigot!"

I could go on and on about some of the closest relationships I've had with men they were all gay. But of course I would be using some sort "SEE! He said he has gay friends! Look! He's igno'ant".

Yes they are my friends and yes I think less of them because they are gay.

Being attractive to gay men != being attractive to women.

What's your point? I'd still take it as a compliment. Gay or straight everyone has different tastes no one universally agrees on who they are attracted too. Being the object of anyone's attraction gay or straight is something you can feel good about.

What if a straight guy was having a really bad night and wanted to cuddle with you to make him feel better?

I know your joking but jokes aside to answer seriously he wouldn't be straight if he genuinely wanted to "cuddle" so I'd have to say sorry I'm not gay. If he just wanted some company, even a hug, because he had a really shitty day I might, depends on if it was a stranger or not.

Good answer!

Just watch out for the hugs. They get you all wrapped up and then you feel a roll of quarters crawling up your leg.

I don't find gay sex itself appealing and indeed am put off by it but that's not the point I was making. The point was I keep the 2 completely separate in my mind. I would take being hit on by a gay man as a compliment not because I approve or disprove of gay sex but because it's a sign that someone gay or straight saw something in me, be it looks or personality, that they liked and were attracted to which is something you can feel good about. Again this is completely separate from the next step which is gay sex which I don't want to have anything to do with. I personally don't see anything of importance that is different about gay people and am perfectly happy to hang around them and count as friends.

I am not homophobic. I do however refuse to be around that small percentage of homosexuals who are the "loud and proud" type who want to be as in-your-face with it as possible. No better than any other couple making out non-stop around you. I think a passionate kiss is awesome to see, shows passion thats there. Non-stop deepthroating your partner's tongue I can do without though.

Yeah, my point is I felt that way too. Until it actually happened and I had a real reaction rather than conjecturing about it.

Yes they are my friends and yes I think less of them because they are gay.

I truly feel sorry for your "friends." And can't but wonder if they know you think they are inferior to you. Only because, I would never consider one of my friends inferior in any way, no matter what they did. Clearly they aren't your friends, and hopefully if they know you consider them inferior to you they don't consider you a friend either.

There is so much wrong with what you just head it makes my head spin! The fact that anyone, in the year 2008 almost 2009 would even use the word "inferior" to describe a minority group. Yet I'm even more shocked that you would consider a friend of yours inferior and say it without flinching.

On another hypocritical note, just from reading your posts I definitely consider you inferior to me, and I truly feel sorry for you.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get ready because I'm going out to one of the largest gay bars in Sydney to be in the presence of my fellow man where I will drink with them dance with flirt with them makeout with them, and who knows maybe even go with one. And yes I am male. And yes there's nothing better then penis in and around my mouth. Do I wave a flag? No. Do I have a lisp? No, Do I dress like a i love you? No. Would you be able to tell I was gay from seeing me on the street? No. But I do looooove men. Do I care if someone thinks I'm inferior to them? No. Do I care what people think of me? HELL NO!!!!!

i'm not homophobic per say, i dont fear them.

i do feel uncomfortable talking to them about their lifestyle, though.

then again, i feel uncomfortable talking to people, so that's not any real indication of anything.

I don't have a problem with them. My only beef is maybe when they flaunt their relationship in public but I have a problem with straight people not 'getting a room' if you know what I mean. Guess I'm kinda a prude in that respect and think intimacy should be more private. Another issue I've always wondered is if some gay people are gay because it's easier to get along with same sex?

It's amusing how many people use the "I know gay people" as a defense against being homophobic. It's just a fallacy of logic, there are plenty of homophobic people have interact with homosexuals on a regular basis and even run in the same circles of friends. I don't consider myself the least bit homophobic, but man do I get annoyed when I use the word "queer" properly, and people give me the evil eye as if I'm making some out of left field homosexual slur.

in all seriousness, no i'm not homophobic. Its understandable that some can be, but I think I'm a part of a more liberal generation (most likely due to my young age as well)

I dont have anything against anyone, as long as they dont flaunt they sexual practices in public. In other words I dont go around saying Im heterosexual and enjoy this type of sex, neither should someone that engages in homosexual sex flaunt their sexual lifestyles. Keep your sexual practices private I dont want to hear about them.

Nothing, necessarily. Let's put it another way though: If you found out a long-time, good friend of yours was gay, would it change how you felt about them? Would you think less of them?

If I found out a friend was secretly a member of the KKK, for instance, I would think much less of them. If I found out a friend was gay, it would have zero impact on how I valued their friendship.

Do you dislike them because of how (some of them) act, or based simply on their sexual orientation?

I'm not sure, to be honest. I do know some people who are that way and they are very nice people. However, I still feel uncomfortable.

I have no fear of gay people.

Hell, I don't care what consenting adults do.

Are flamboyant gays sometimes obnoxious? You bet. But so are heterosexual lounge lizards and the like.

Their sexual preference is as natural to them as my heterosexuality is to me. You can't choose your sexual preference.

Ns1 has always told me it's not gay if your balls don't touch.

Anyway, why the hell would I care who anyone else is sleeping with. None of my goddamned business.

What if it was just one ball for a split second?

And I totally agree. Its not my business. I might not agree with what they are doing, I might think its one of the biggest sins you can commit but its not my place to judge.
