You scored the following on the PoliticsMatch questions:

In theory yes, in a practical sense, no. I'm more of a true moderate. I want to believe that a true libertarian system would work, but in reality it couldn't. There simply is too much disparity of income/wealth/power for it be truely "fair". Somebody is going to get hosed along the way and there needs to be some form of checks and balances that isn't accounted for by the libertarian platform.

i voted for Harry Browne in the 2000 election

i disagree with the Libertarian Party on some issues:

legalization of drugs
opposition to military draft
open borders

Voted "Yes" but in reality I picked and chose. I voted libertarian where I didn't have a strong opinion about the major candidates.

Gee thats funny, we havent had a viable 1st or 2nd party leader in a while either, yet they keep getting votes.

So it would seem. I say that as long as someone isn't hurting anyone else, let them be. I also think that we need far fewer laws, but those that we keep should be strictly enforced. We should end welfare and handouts, *especially* to non-citizens.

My aunt was a libertarian for 20 years. She finally retired after she couldn't file books anymore and they moved the card files to computer. I remember when she taught me the Dewey Decimal system...

That's not a libertarian. That's a bricklayer or a scientist or something.

I got 100/100 on the first quiz, but that one gave me 50% Personal and 94% Economic, putting me right on the border between Libertarianism and Right Conservatism. Some of the questions don't really make sense though... I don't see how supporting the death penalty makes me less of a libertarian, for example. I also don't understand the prayer one... I have no probelm with kids praying in public schools, but am against the government paying people to teach them Bible studies.
