It's not hard at all. You just need a strainer, a little water, and a lot of cookie dough ice cream. I do it all the time.
Why the fuck would you do that? Seriously what the fuck? You're going to have to spend probably at least 5 times the amount on the cookie dough ice cream to get an equal amount of cookie dough as one of the prepackaged tubes (which will be drastically more convenient to boot), to say nothing of how it'd compare if you went to other means.

If you want cookies but are too lazy to make some or get the ingredients, its not like this doesn't require nearly as much work, or that you'll be able to make a lot from the cookie dough ice cream you have on hand, unless you're buying a hell of a lot of it (and then subsequently wasting most of the actual product for what is likely some pretty mediocre cookies). I can only guess that you're maybe emptying the dumpster outside of a cookie dough ice cream factory or something.
Even in light of the way that a hell of a lot of this forum has devolved into near insanity levels of stupidity, this is seriously competing with the most nonsensical thing I've seen on here the past few months.
