Wondering if anybody has ever baked cookies using the cookie dough from chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream?

would it not be easier to get a strainer and allow the ice cream to melt and then put all the bits in to a bowl and roll them out in to cookies?

then use the left over cream to pour it over yourself and go slugging?

Not sure what you mean, like use actual ice cream to make cookies? Wouldn't it just melt and cause a huge mess in the oven?

I have baked cookies using normal dough, however. I'm due to make some more now that I think about it, been a while. Peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are easy and tasty to make.

Speaking of baking, I like to use parchement paper so I don't dirty the pan, and I can just store the cookies in containers using it as layering material. Problem is, that stuff is so springy and wants to jump everywhere, how do you get it to stay flat in the pan? I've thought of using hard drive magnets but not sure if those would get weak from the oven heat and let go, springing dough everywhere.
