Are YouTube challenge videos a type of modern day population control? If so, maybe they should add a "catch a bullet with your teeth" challenge as well

There was a couple that tried to do it with a book so they would be famous on Youtube not too long ago...they failed...

Already had something close to that with the dumb fuck that had his girlfriend shoot him with a desert eagle through a book that he thought would stop it.

I don't get it. What's the actual challenge if the steps to complete it are simple?

They should just name these the AM I STUPID dare.

I think the "challenge" is setting yourself on fire as a dare... as in, can you put yourself out quick enough I suppose is the challenge.

Not the actual igniting of the fire...

Yeah but these people don't seem to have the requisite "fire putting out items" on hand. So maybe it's more like a scavenger hunt while you are on fire? Then again I am guessing the successful ones don't make the news so maybe these are just the idiots that watched the first part of the video and told themselves "I can totally do that!" and just didn't pay consider the fire putting out part? Like Becky, OMG, the fire will totally put itself out, duh!

To me, the most disturbing part of that video is how the cameraman (his friend) isn't laughing his ass off; I'd be on the ground dying with laughter.

In response to the article about the girl and alcohol.

This doesn't add up. There was something else going on there to create an explosion. Mom is just milking a Social Meida angle to try and make it seem like her kid didn't pull the stoves gas pipe out of the wall or something.

Alcohol needs to be in a very confined space to cause an explosion.

Uhhh... you sure about that? I can understand that if it's your typical 40% ABV liquors, but if it's everclear or rubbing alcohol?
