Aren't all polls flawed by design?

Isn't it so that most, if not all, pollsters contact people via landline (using robocalls)? Since the younger generations, let's say under age 50, all use smartphones and don't have a landline anymore, how can those people be properly polled?

Does anybody know how pollster poll people without a landline, so mainly younger people?

Pew, for example, does about 75% of it's poll calling to cell phones so that's obviously been changing.

From what I've read it seems the simple fact that fewer and fewer people are willing to participate in polls is at least as big an issue as to landline vs cell. Possibly bigger.

Thanks for the info but how do pollsters obtain those cell phone numbers. Don't most people keep these secret and only share them with friends?

Pew explains that it dials numbers at random. Not very efficient, but it respects privacy. Not sure how other agencies get theirs, although I wouldn't be surprised if others do the same.
