Trying it now.....(yeah, I'm a few days late to the party.)
That's really lousy site design where it refreshes the entire page every time you click a checkbox. Then go back, click More Options again, and pick another one.
And the Power Search page is the same old immense array of checkboxes, which will happily allow you to select incompatible combinations. I want an 18" LCD that has 3ms response time, 80000:1 contrast, and 3840x2160 resolution.
Search....0 matches.
Ok....let's try clicking a whole lot of boxes. (Even more fun if you are presented with a category with a lot of desirable options, but only a few unwanted ones. Everyone just loves checking checkboxes.)
I've seen sites where the page will simply change/rearrange/whatever-it-does without a reload, to update the allowable items on the page.
Or maybe something that lets you select multiple checkboxes and then update the page. If I know that I need to click four checkboxes, it can be a pain in the ass to click one, then have the page shuffle itself, relocate the other boxes I had already found, click the next one, the page readjusts, and the hunt continues once again.
Digikey and Mouser know how to do a search for components.
Digikey gives you an immense number of product properties to use as search filters.
Mouser gives far fewer options, to the point that it limits the functionality, but it gives you the option for either a dynamic update that will refresh the available listings (not the entire page) following a short delay once you've click on a filter (or filters, using Ctrl or Shift). Or you can leave the dynamic update feature disabled, allowing you to click a whole bunch of filters in multiple categories, and then apply them all at the same time. All the while though, regardless of the dynamic filter setting, it will courteously and continuously update the "Available Products" counter as you're clicking filters.
