the intelligent design thread is getting old;If you have great argument bring it on;but if you dont know the texts dont expect to be replied to,I want to feel challenged.

I say evolution is an aspect of creation.
I say that conciousness is infinite.
I say string theory is factual in its description as a scientific additive to the argument for god.
I say that all religious texts represent repeated attempts for communion on a global scale.
I say the persuit of science describes the material manifestations of creation.

If you make a point make it good, thats all i ask.i dont want inflammatory remarks and wont reply to any unless the point is great.

Why does it seem that noobs are the one that post these threads? Do they get a kick out of seeing a flamefest?

someone/something made us

that someone/something doesn't control us or observe us.

The purpose of life is to live it and stop worshiping something some lunatic from thousands of years preached. All those "prophets" you hear about were either crazy wackos or some good con artists who figured out a way to bang a 9 year old girl without being kicked in the ass by her father.

Hey you asked and I gave you my argument. Now flame me all you want. I probably pissed off everyone on ATOT.. didn't I.

aimster, all i ask is for others thoughts on the matter, wether they agree or disagree is not important and all views are welcome.

I like to challenge my beliefs to strengthen them;so for your input i give a thumbs up;lets see if your peers can add anything. On your observation idea; our connection to the infinite is our observer.basically we observe ourselves.

i believe we are all connected in spirit, and that can be exemplified in various abilities ,common to man.

i believe we were created. i think natural evolution is a part of that creation. I do think GOD observes, but I don't think GOD interferes. Part of the gift is free will, because without it, we would all be mindless robots and it would defeat the purpose of life.

I think the purpose of life is to come into this world with an unconditioned conciousness and come out of it with a conciousness capable of imagination, dreams, and awareness of existence.

I know alot of space/time seems random, but little things like the fact that of all the different size stars and moons that we could have had, all that is out there, we somehow managed to land on the planet that with a moon as small as it is, it managed to be perceptually the same size as the giant sun, granting us eclipses and such... how random is that?

cool view.i dont know what your belief limitations are ;but I do respect the points you made.
I believe the pupose of life is to learn to endure.
as well as what you said
I believe that through learning to endure we can reach eternal endurance,And i believethat there are stages of realization in that.Where we can become more and evade form in eternal understanding, while we would have our own conciousness we would lack what we ascribe to as form.where the bible states the meek shall inherit the earth is a descriptor of that and it states that some will share the throne of christ is another;but this is far beyond its literal meaning. The throne isnt an actual throne its infinity a place of privilidge and responsibility and the forefront of infinite expansion as the bible refers to us bieng seeds and harvest we are gathered to expand conciousness.

Aimsters point is valid to a point where we are not meant to be overruled but just as valid as christ providing we adhere to the laws of infinity.even christ said as much when he stated you will do these things and greater thing than I have done.

modern religion is askew from the facts. We were made to be christs equals but the path is narrow.

Oh, good. This topic really hasn't been covered enough.

If you're actually interested in the debate, why don't you google for the arguments? This is stuff philosophers et al. have been talking about for hundreds (probably even thousands) of years. Are you really that lazy?

EDIT: Also, if you're truly determined to talk philosophy with people, you might help your cause by learning to spell and punctuate correctly. Most people who are interested in intellectual discussion don't want to do it with someone that writes like a fourth grade dropout.
