A Prescott radio host embroiled in a controversy over a school mural is off the air, while the mural won't be subject to a whitewash order.
Steve Blair, who also holds a seat on the Prescott City Council, was let go from his talk radio show after drawing fire for his opposition to an environmental mural painted on an elementary school.
The "Go to Green" mural, based on the faces of children who attend the school, drew local criticism for featuring minority children.
The school district has reversed its request to lighten the faces of the students in the mural, after attracting national attention with the move.

You're fucking goneBased on his political comments, how could a reasonable person not devoid of some semblance of logic not realize that's what he was going for?
Given that, of course, he's a racist himself, right? Why else would he make the central person latino in a state almost 60% white and a country reportedly 90+% white?

Unless the atmosphere of the community is so racist nobody would even conceive of someone of any high profile making such a ludicrous assertion. The fact that one person did and in turn he was slapped down demonstrates that all those involved in the school and community no matter what their political persuasion were appalled by the demand.So....no rational defense, got it.

Racist? Based on what, my failure to get all red in the face like you over this mural? Almost all didn't give a shit who was painted on it front and center. It was just an American kid. Does the color of his skin really matter to anyone but you and your fellow red ass who complained about it?Communities and radio stations don't like these things called 'lawsuits', whether the lawsuit has merit or not, it still takes this thing called 'money' to defend against. Then there's all the bad publicity from the lawsuit, again, costing the entity that thing called 'money' both in terms of additional defense and/or clarification, and lost income.
It's why school administrations let teachers get pushed around by F'ing idiot parents/students, rather than telling said parents/students to go take a leap off the auditorium.

How is saying the hispanics can stay were they are . Being racist . Last I new Hispanics were of many races. Are Spanish people Indian . No they are not . are they black some are . Are they hispanic yes they are. Any spanish speaking nation is hispanic or are you racist in your belief that only indians are hispanic . What kind of racism denies the native language of south american indians.
