I haven't seen this though. I've seen some racism against whites for sure. Most of the racism I've witnessed has been against blacks, hispanics, arabs, indians, and asians though.

What does matter is what the artist's intent was. Did he intend to stir the pot by making the child at the center a Mexican or did that just happen on its own.
The only way to truly know would be to see the original plans for the drawings and see how they compared to the final produce and how they compare to the designs that the students picked out.

The article as written seems... incomplete to say the least. It doesn't really serve a purpose to pick it up in the national arena except to make people bitch and scream about a situation that they don't really know about. Then again that goes for most of the nationally covered stories these days.
