Because it's true. I'm only half joking. Marines are "best" in a few key areas that you should keep in mind:
a) combat
b) overall toughness
c) sticking together/staying close-knit
d) discipline
e) doing the most with the least
f) making fun of the other services.
Every Branch Makes FUN of the OTHERS...
My dad were in the navy and he taunts the airforce and the army and as well the marines. My dad thinks that they are nearly worth less without the Navy. Well IMO one branch does depends on the others and this applies to all of the branches. So in general we all need each others. They do their jobs differently. Salute to our troops no matter what.
Yeah, that's what i posted the analogy. Because just like in high school, the honors students look at the athletes like a bunch of dumbasses, the athletes look at the ap students like a bunch of geeks, and the music people are their own isolated group but know that without them, critical school functions wouldn't work.
In terms of Navy vs Marines, it's like Music Vs Wrestling. Music people think Wrestlers are stupid and barbaric. Why throw each other around and get all sweaty and gross when you can do something more cultured and "cool". On the other hand, the wrestlers think the music people are a bunch of homos who cant fight their way out of a paperbag.
In the end, all the services contribute to the US Military and all of them are needed. They just serve different functions.
