And who started those fires?

Your simple is that you're pretty sure Gulf War Syndrome is caused by oil well fires? Can you tell me what led you to this conclusion?

Uh since when did I say oil fires have anything to do with Gulf War Sydrome?

Why did you refer to oil fires then?

I quoted it from a different person...

Odd that your biggest concern is over his relationship with horses. I have heard that he doesn't ride them, but if you're really worried I suggest a bit of google.

Believe me, I'm not worried. The allegation was made in that tripe of a flash that he was afraid of horses. I searched and found nothing. I am assuming that it is a lie. Since whoever made that flash would lie about something such as that, what would stop them from making up the rest?

So, do you have something on it or not?

Could you explain that a little and tell us who is losing at what? Your comment was a bit vague.

The guy should have left off the scared of horses thing. To me. the fact (yes, fact) that Bush missed a year of ANG duty is the clearest indication of his dedivcation to duty.

Washingtonian

?When Mr. Bush called Mr. Putin to invite him to the ranch,? Dowd wrote, fluttering toward her conclusion, ?the Russian president said he was looking forward to riding horses with the American president. Mr. Bush had to explain that he doesn?t ride. He prefers to saddle up his jeep or his golf cart, Gator, around the ranch.?

Time Magazine

The most interesting breed in the area, however, may well be Stelmach herself, a prime example of what George W. Bush calls "windshield ranchers," weekend cowboys more comfortable behind a steering wheel than atop a saddle.

I also heard that Bush became alarmed when he found out the Mexican president intended for them to go on a horse ride together and had to tell him that he wouldn't do it.

It also looks like it may turn out that he actually is a horse's ass.

"And this meant . . . what? Nothing, but in a Maureen Dowd column, meaning has become unnecessary. It was just another schoolgirl spitball lobbed at Bush: Screw you and the horse you didn?t ride in on."

So it is just another lie by the lefties. Got it.

Ah, so it's just another "attack the source" defense by etech. Got it. I'm really sorry your real-life cowboy image of Bush was wrecked, but face facts. Bush doesn't have horses at his ranch. He's got 200 head of cattle, but he's got a professional, on-site rancher to take care of them. About the only thing he does on his ranch is cruise around in his Chevy Suburban dreaming about his next game of golf.

No, my reading challenged friend. It is showing that they do not have their facts correct in that flash. Just as you seem to feel free to lie and make up things about me. If you have no trouble showing that you are a liar than I see why you liked that flash. The truth does not seem to have any meaning to you or the people that made it.

I don't know etech, you're the one who focused in on the horse "issue." If you ask me, that seems to be the most insignificant point of the entire flash animation. But hey, that's classic etech MO: focus on the minutia and ignore the real issues. But I guess if you wanna go running around your room, yelling "liar, liar, pants on fire" like a 5-year old girl, more power to ya

who the hell cares. people drive cars now because for 99% of all uses, the car is superior to the horse for transportation. this has been discovered after years of research and product tests.

Actually it seems to be flavio who brought it up first.

flavio
"Going AWOL and being afraid of horses seemed to be mentioned as points related to the image displayed above the text from a news site which showed Bush as he encouraged attackers to "bring it on".

As no one answered my query on where that little bit of "journalism" came from I began to expect that is was included as just another bit of Bush bashing. If they were willing to include that lie just to bash, why pay attention to the rest of their crap. Their only goal seems to be to bash. I can read that sort of lie on this board ad nasuem.

Yep, it's very transparent especially when we've seen it so many times before. Try to cast doubt on some portion of a piece and then act as if somehow that would logically invalidate the whole thing. Sorry etech, but you're not fooling anyone with this.

...and the fact remains that Bush won't ride a horse....not even a modern one.

flavio, If you weren't so desperatly trying to bash the President you wouldn't be making such stupid lies.

You say that he won't ride a modern horse(segway) but the pictures you link to show him doing just that. There's bashing and there is stupid bashing but you are taking it to a new and lower level. Congratulations.

I don't see him riding anything. He tried to get on and fell right off the Segway....but it looks like you're getting pretty desperate to find a "lie" though to use in your tired ploy.

Since you're so hung up on his relationship with horses here's another one for you.....

He can't take the high horse and then claim the low road." ?George W. Bush, in Feb. 2000

"President Bush Rides Segway

Meanwhile, the Segway caught the attention of the Commander in Chief last week when Kamen joined about 100 friends and backers of President Bush who were invited to a pre-speech reception at the University of New Hampshire.

Kamen was riding a Segway outside the university library, giving rides to a few guests, but Secret Service agents wouldn't let the inventor bring the Segway up to where the President was giving his speech, according to the Union Leader of Manchester, N.H.

During his speech, Bush cited Kamen after he noticed him at the back of the crowd, and later the president chatted with the inventor, who told him he had a Segway downstairs. Secret Service agents quickly brought it up to the floor, and the president rode it around. He picked up how to use it right away, Kamen said.

"

Bash on flavio, that seems to be all that you can do. Ignore the truth, ignore the facts, just bash on.
