I like it. It isn't as dark as Arrow but it's good so far.

Yeah the whole "YOU HAVE FAILED THIS CITY" thing was pretty cheesy but they started making fun of it later on. :awe:

I think The Flash is better than Arrow. They actually get villains with super powers, and the overall story for this season is pretty good. I still watch Arrow, but its gotten kinda dumb imo. Green Arrow can't take on Deathstroke straight up. The dude is like Captain America with weapons.

Yeah I don't think they planned on bringing people with powers when Arrow first started. They tried the grounded in reality thing. I think the whole crossover episode tried to justify Arrow fighting super villains.

There is something about the Flash I can not get enough of. I love that show. I have binge watched the first two seasons of Arrow, and have been following along with this season. I thought this year started off in an odd direction. A death in the first episode, and has been rather boring. The last two episodes have picked up a lot, and I getting excited for this show again.

It's a common trend with Arrow. First half of season goes kinda slow, villain of the week thing then all of a sudden second half goes into overdrive.

Its pretty inconsistent too. Oliver needs Merlin because he's badass and can help with the League. He beats Oliver and Thea up at the same time. Then he loses easily to Nyssa, but then Oliver beats her easily. I think its the second time he's beaten her easily.

They should steer away from Batman storylines for a bit. Almost makes me think Green Arrow has no stories of his own. And this whole Atom thing is just lame. They should break out The Question, and bring back Huntress. And give Oliver his money back. I can't put my finger on it, but the show just isn't the same. Maybe all the creative talent went to work on Flash.

That's how I feel too. There's something about broke Arrow that doesn't make it the same. I also hate the whole Atom side story. There's something about his character that I despise.

will have to see what they do with atom. looks like he'll be appearing in flash soon and there is/was talk of a seperate series.

arrow taking over the league is an interesting twist. would like to see him get his company back, but guess that will wait to see what they do with atom.

The League of Assassins has always been a Batman villain. They fit the way The Arrow is portrayed in the TV series (in the comics he traditionally has been poor in hand to hand combat) but I wish that another and more normal Green Arrow had been used.

Deathstroke from the comics can exterminate The Green Arrow and not even exert himself. He can and has beaten Batman in hand to hand combat.

The CW DC shows have also resumed hiring old Spartacus actors as Weather Wizard will be played by none other than Liam McIntyre -- AKA Spartacus!

I started a Flash marathon- forced myself to watch the first 3 episodes (the main actor was riding Tobey MaGuire too hard at first), but it quickly found it's footing. I'm up to the Arrow vs Flash 2 parter so far

Kinda didn't like how the whole dramatic punch of Sisco's death was pretty much negated with the time travel.

Ah, time travel... it's a dangerous sci-fi concept to use because it tends to bring up too many questions! The biggest thing that came to mind was the last scene with Barry at the intersection. That was obviously future Barry who realized that he had gone back in time, but what I'm wondering is that the exact same scene from earlier? In other words, was that actually future Barry that stopped there earlier in the episode? Since future Barry and Barry were side-by-side prior to that scene, you would assume that if they both stopped right there, they would see each other. However, there's only a single Barry present in both scenes. Based upon Nora's death, we know that time travel in this setup isn't consciousness only (e.g. Quantum Leap) since two Barrys existed at the same time.

In regard to what has been seen in previews for future episodes...

There was a long preview released (about 2 minutes) that covered tonight's episode as well as future episodes. It showed Cisco in scenes that haven't been shown yet. So, he will most likely not stay dead. Although, based upon the episode titles on Wikipedia, I'm not sure when they're going to resolve this, because the next one is titled "Rogue Time", which alludes to the episode shown in the preview featuring the Snarts (Captain Cold, Golden Glider) and Rory (Heatwave). The episode after that will feature The Trickster, and the following one will have Ray Palmer and Felicity from Arrow team up.
