Cloning force sensitives and genetic manipulation is difficult, but remotely possible if Starkiller is any indication.

It would be a curious question because they did a ton of cloning for the Emperor's army, so it stands to reason that the DNA would include the midichlorian count. Did a quick google, looks like they've had some thought into that already:

Especially since cloning IS canon, per the new movies...

Yeah, but doesn't the EU consist of like 500 books? I read a lot of those back in the day. Reason I asked was because I read this article on Imgur the other day:

Also, what is currently considered canon? Are there books right now that segwayed into the EU but are actually canon?

A good majority of the EU is trash. Lucas allowed it to happen so that fans could get new stories. They have even borrowed from EU from time to time, but there are some specific books where the Author has talked to Lucas or Pablo Hildalgo (curator of all things star wars) about specific events and they'd give them some information and the author would flesh it out. Lucasfilm took all those books you mentioned and said they are not canon. They said there are plenty of good stories in some of those books and that they may draw upon some of the good ones in the future to formally canonize them. For example, Darth Bane is known as the first Dark Lord of the Sith that instituted the rule of two. I believe the author did get some of this information from Lucas, but the story he wrote was mostly his own. Currently none of that story is canon. However, in the last season of Clone Wars they did make mention of Darth Bane and how he instituted the rule of two, so now Darth Bane as a character is canonized. There is a list of the new canon, its pretty sure but new books are coming out all the time.

Another thing on the lightsaber color. Can a lightsaber be more powerful? We have not seen a red lightsaber cut through another color lightsaber. So to say one is more powerful than another is silly to me. No matter the color, if you get hit by the blade the end result is the same.

Starkiller isn't canon. The stormtrooper's aren't clones.

I seem to recall somewhere in the EU a gold lightsaber that could cut through other lightsabers. i think the crystal was destroyed and it was then banned to make them.

Does Rey go full bush or do they shave down there a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

I have no doubt EU had something like that. The problem with EU is some of them are basically bad fan fiction stories. If there was an actual lightsaber that cut through other lightsabers then everybody would have that specific lightsaber, jedi and sith alike. Which makes the whole super weapon pointless to begin with. Banning it wouldn't stop the Sith or Darkside user from using it, and the Jedi would do whatever they wanted anyways and used them to defend themselves.

Why did it take 7 episodes for a stormtrooper to bleed from a blaster shot? How can Rey speak Wookie after never leaving her home planet? Why do the Rathtars kill all the humans on the millenium falcon except Finn? Why is the Force a total shock to Rey when the entire galaxy (including people on Jakku) know of its legend? Why did the Resistance trust Finn, a stormtrooper turncoat, so much off the bat that they allowed him to see their general without interrogating him first? What is the point of a Flametrooper if a blaster can vaporize anything it hits with more efficiency? How did they find Rey on the entire planet-sized Starkiller without knowing her location?

Because Cinema is stylistically different now.

2D or 3D?

If you're asking whether to see it in 2D or 3D, I don't feel that 3D was really necessary. It wasn't done in a way that really enhanced the movie. I would not have been sad if I saw it in 2D instead, and I was a big fan of how they used 3D in Avatar.

I didn't really like it. It was everything I thought it would be. Very light on story, more like a cameo of A Lost Hope. Nostalgia isn't a good way to move the franchise forward.

Makes me appreciate The clone wars alot more.

I call bullshit, my gold crystal never seemed that great.

Of course that was a long time ago and never fought another jedi with it...

Maybe it was yeller, was pretty sure I had a gold one.
